Eminem is spending his “Recovery” at the top of the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row. After debuting at No. 1 last week, the Motor City’s outspoken lyricist moved another 313,000 copies of his hit LP Recovery this week.

The album has sold 1.1 million copies, achieving platinum status after just two weeks on shelves.

Eminem's "Recovery" will blast in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with 741,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. The largest sales week for a single album since October 2008, when AC/DC's "Black Ice" debuted with 784,000 in its first week. This is the hip-hop king's sixth straight No. 1 debut and sixth overall chart topper on the Billboard 200. Eminem's new album also wows digitally, as downloads made up 255,000 of its first week. Last week's Billboard 200 albums chart No. 1, Drake's "Thank Me Later," falls to No. 2 with 157,000 (down 65%). The chart's second-highest debut comes from Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed," which enters at No. 3 with 102,000. 「流行音樂產業這幾年有太多改變，但至少有一件事一直沒有改變!」美國紐約時報(The New York Times)如此形容阿姆的新專輯【好的很Recovery】本週以最高的74萬1千張的驚人銷售量，第6度空降告示牌專輯榜冠軍，肯定阿姆饒舌第一天王的不敗地位!除了美國之外，其他各國也有銷售捷報，英國以14萬張的銷售空降冠軍，另外在加拿大、澳洲、法國、愛爾蘭、瑞士、 紐西蘭(首週銷售就破金唱片)等國也空降銷售冠軍。

由於專輯在發行前兩週就遭網友”早洩”，在網路上流傳，樂評預估首週銷售將多少受專輯外流影響，首週銷售將落在50萬到60萬之譜，結果阿姆新專輯開出74萬1千張銷量，比本週2到10名的銷售總合還多10萬張，同時成為2008年10月以來最高的首週銷量，除了空降告示牌專輯榜(Billboard Hot 200)之外，同時空降饒舌榜與嘻哈/節奏藍調榜冠軍，另外在數位銷售榜也以22萬5千張的銷量空降冠軍，成為史上數位銷售首週第2高專輯，僅次於Coldplay的【Viva la Vida】。阿姆的新專輯也讓樂評叫好，一向給分嚴格的滾石雜誌給了這張專輯四顆星的高分。

新專輯叫好叫座開紅盤，阿姆也以特別的方式預先慶功，他客串了HBO影集「Entourage/我家也有大明星」，他在影集中飾演自己，出席了戲中一場為他辦的新專輯慶功派對。而眾所囑目的阿姆與傑斯兩場各自家鄉的聯合演唱會，也宣佈加場，除了原本的9月2日與9月13日兩場之外，將增加9月3日跟9月14日兩場。
