TOMORROW: FIFA World Cup 2010. Day 6 Match Analysis.

It's all a bit too much for N.Korea's Tae-Se Jong郑大世, who can't help but cry during his teams National Anthem.

I'm not gonna ask for excitement outta this World Cup anymore, I'm sick of trying. If joint-favourites Brazil aren't blowing N.Korea out of the water and DRAWING 0-0 with them at half-time, i've gone beyond asking. A tally of 23 goals in 15 games shows just how World Football has improved - DEFENSIVELY. Portugal's drab 0-0 draw with Ivory Coast didn't help that cause. And I guess the fact that both New Zealand scored in a 1-1 draw with Slovakia, coupled with N.Korea's consolation agaist Brazil epitomises what we've seen so far...shocking, unpredicatble craziness!

NEW ZEALAND 1-1 SLOVAKIA

The less said about the first half of this game, the better. It was poor. I don't actually know how FIFA managed to fill Rustenburg today, but the vuvezela's were still loud as shit. They were the main excitement in a crappy, dry-ass first-half with no chances. New Zealand had no star performers, and Slovakia had to resolve to the creativity and VLADIMIR WEISS son of his name-sake manager, and Marek Hamsik, who tended to be as wayward as his well-oiled hair. You could tell that New Zealand didn't have a pro-league of their own, and that their one team Wellington Phoenix plays in Australia, when goalie Mark Paston first gave away a ball to the striker, to be saved by defenders, whilst secondly, he'd make simple saves look dramatic. ROBERT VITTEK finally gave Slovakia the lead that their upperhand deserved, but even though they looked comfortable after this, they didn't press on. This was epitomised when in the 93rd minute, Smeltz crossed for WINSTON REID to head home, and send the 50 NZ fans in the stadium wild! Watch out for BERTOS of New Zealand next game as he performed well, while Weiss, Hamsik and MAREK CECH stood out for Slovakia. I didn't think either of these would go through, and I still don't think either will. So it's good that they both got their goals/points total in their 1st match. It was a first for NZ! Kudos Kiwis!

Reid celebrates scoring for NZ, and is booked for his efforts! Homo refs.

IVORY COAST 0-0 PORTUGAL

It should've been a classic, but in truth it was anything but. Infact, this game, featuring some of the best footballers in the planet, was more like a tactical chess-game with defence being the priority to two men who have proved that they can't coach internationally - Sven Goran-Eriksson, formerly of England, now of Ivory Coast, and Carlos Quiroz aka Man Utd's number 2. I predicted a 2-1 win for Portugal before the match which shows the tightness of it, but damn, this took it to a new level! Poster-boy and lady's/homo's man CRISTIANO RONALDO, who now captain's his nation was the obvious one to be looked at first, but he had an overall quiet game, as has happened very often after last summer's big move to Real. He had one moment of brilliance however, after collecting a pass, turning and taking a fantastic shot on the panel of the ball, which struck Barry's post. And that was pretty much that. He only stayed on for the full 90 because he's CR7 (or 9 in this case) and captain. Ivory Coast were without talisman DIDIER DROGBA who broke his arm in a warm up, so Portugal should've capitalised. But it was all so tight that both teams looked to the counter-attack which also failed. Ivory Coast had most of the ball, with Salomon Kalou looking busy as usual, and Man-of-the-Match GERVINHO showing his class, and why Europe's elite are after him. He tested Portugal's ageing defence time and again with runs, turn of pace and decent shooting. A handful for anyone. Yaya Toure, Siaka Tiene and Emmanuel Eboue all worked hard in their respective roles, but even after Drogba came on, and as the match died down even on Portugal's part, there was no attacking effort. Both of these just looked happy to get something before having to face Brazil. Watch out for the nippy RAUL MEIRELES next time for Portugal. Everyones always pumped for game two. These two will have to be. I'm still backing Portugal to go through, and C'IV to miss out, just. P.S. - Deco, Liedson and Danny...why the hell do you play at international level and get away with it!? Rubbish!

BRAZIL 2-1 COMMUNISTS

Summed up a weird day of World Cup football perfectly. When a team, who posesses players that no one has heard of holds joint favourites Brazil to a goalless draw at half-time, you can't help but think, wtf!? The craft, trickery and skill of the Brazilians just wasn't working, whatever they tried. In fact, N.Korea believe it or not, didn't look half bad with TAE-SE JONG being the focus of their attack. They actually deserved their clean sheet at half time. Brazil looked like a bunch of half-wits not knowing where to put their faces when they actually couldn't score. They were at times reduced to long-shots, which even by their standards were crap. Full-back MICHEL BASTOS of Lyon in France was the only one who looked bothered. The underestimation must have ended with harsh words at half time, as 10 mins into the second half, Inter Milan right-back MAICON crashed in an unstoppable shot from the tightest angle possible, giving Brazil the lead that their early second half slickness deserved. It's sure to be a Goal of the Tournament contender. After this, you would'a expected the floodgates to open but to their credit, N.Korea kept it tight. That was until the 72nd minute, when ROBINHO who'd been step-over happy without much result for most of the game put in a perfectly waited ball for ELANO, brilliant all game, to slide in 1st time. Brilliant. And finally. Game over? No way...N.Korea surprised us like when they announced their nukes, just 2 mins from the end. Brazil were half a sleep and Dunga's done something to 'em which makes 'em look as if they don't give a shit at times...Lucio, who's usually solid, let YUN-NAM JI walk past him and crash in past Cesar. Hopefully this will be a kick up the backside to not only Dunga, but to world football...WAKE THE FUCK UP! Stop playing defensively, get forward and score, or the minnows will punish you! Team #1 in the FIFA Rankings scraped past team #105. AND Dunga was gonna replace Elano just before he scored! shit. Kaka was nowhere to be seen unfortunately for all you fans out there, and Brazil's stars today were Gilberto Silva and Felipe Melo - 2 defensive midfielders, which says alot. Not saying I expected alot, but N.K's goalie Myong Guk-Ri was SHITE!-when he let in Maicon's goal and because he didn't catch shit all night! Anyways, Jong's tears showed pride and joy towards a joyous defeat for N.K in the end, who'll still go out. Brazil...it won't get easier than this. So Step Up!

世界杯G组第一轮一场比赛在约翰内斯堡的埃利斯公园体育场展开角逐,巴西2比1 取胜朝鲜,朝鲜队志尹南终场前扳回一城,他在全场的表现可圈可点。

Great losers - Nuke Korea showed courage and spirit to hold off a 'shell'-shocked Brazil for ages. They could afford to applause their efforts even after a 2-1 loss.

World Cup - wake the hell up tomorrow for when Champions-elect Spain finally play! We're all begging for a lil spark now! Cesc & Torres, if you're reading this...PLEASE!
