Park kills off the 'Big' Greek challenge
The Koreans will get much stiffer opposition in this tournament later on, but Greece weren't even a competition in the slightest today. From back to front they were poor, barely got out of their own half effectively enough and had literally no chances on goal. They were as poor as South Korea were made to look classy today, but when they get tougher opposition, they'll end up faltering. Although Park Ji-Sung is usually the star man, it was LEE JUNG-SOO who gave the Asians an early lead after a poor foul by Greece near the corner flag, and even poorer defending in the box allowing Lee an easy, free shot. Korea didn't create much after this until their 52nd minute goal in the second half, from the popular 朴智星PARK JI-SUNG. Vyntra epitomised the shit work ethic from the Greeks by giving away the ball, allowing park a free run and he cooly finished one-on-one.
My score prediction (1-0 to SK) wasn't spot on but what I said about the teams in my previews was - the Greek team is probably shitter than its economy, and the Koreans will get through Group B.

This was about as convincing as Mexico's awesomeness against South Africa yesterday, but shows where quality shines. Whereas Mexico created chances galore but Vela, Franco and Hernandez couldn't convert, although Argentina only won 1-0, their chances were more likely to create goals and only goalieVINCENT ENYEAMA stopped the scoreline from being embarrasing. Messi had a hatful of chances along with Tevez and Milito, to add to GABRIEL HEINZE'S 6th minute header. Oh and by the way, if anyone was wondering, ANGEL DI MARIA is crap and isn't worth the money that anyone talks about at all. He may be able to unlock weak substandard Portuguese defences but his performance todayshowed that he's not ready at all. Nigeria are pretty much out in my opinion. Argentina will get to the final easily at this rate.

Until USA's flukish goal, England OWNED the game, they were playing all the football and should've had 3 by the time they conceded. STEVEN GERRARD lead his team by example, and an awesome exchange of play between himself, Rooney and then the impressive Emile Heskey put him through and he rolled it in in calmly under 'Turrets-Tim' Howard. Damn, you should'a seen his reaction. If his was bad enough, ROBERT GREEN'S was worse. He let a low, seemingly harmless CLINT DEMPSEY shot underneath his body when it seemed like bread and butter. I turned away after Clint hit it thinking Green would just pick it up and kick it out. To see it go in was nuts. England were shell shocked and owned the seconf half, Heskey and Lampard going close, even though Green made up for his error by saving Jozy Altidore's shot onto the post. That was a huge let off, which is probably the way that the USA were feeling after the most unlikely draw. Kudos Yankee's, wake up England. But all champions start off slow. Ask those cheating Italian's from 2006.
Gerrard's classy effort early on was the quickest goal scored at the Finals so far on 4 mins. But it wasn't enough for a team that need waking up from daydreaming if they're to achieve their ultimate dream
