Follow Murdoc Niccals through the mainland from his new home on Plastic Beach

I t's crazy to think that it's been five years since virtual band Gorillaz released a new album. It was twelve years ago, Blur's Damon Albarn started Gorillaz. I don't think anyone thought back then that this idea would turn into something big. The first two Gorillaz albums have outsold the entire Blur catalog. Now on their third effort, it seems as they never left and are better then ever. Albarn once again writes the songs, produces, sings, plays most of the music and was able to bring in some great cameos. Such as Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Lou Reed, the Clash's Mick Jones and more. Beach isn't as pop as the first two efforts but it's a great mix of all genres that takes you on a journey from beginning to end.
