Christina Aguilera is getting ready to release her fourth studio album "Bionic" now set for a April release! A single is set to drop sometime in February while Aguilera finishes filming musical Burlesque. Today a song titled "Spotlight" leaked set to be from the film. It's a fun upbeat old school number reminiscent to the sound from her album "Back to Basics." It does have a annoying tag but be sure to check it out, Enjoy!!
…and of course the most interesting thing about that is that it seems to be in keeping with the glitchy electronica used in those weird anonymous viral ads that have been floating around. Oooh. Oh, and don’t forget, Aguilera also debuted new track ‘Lift Me Up‘ at last week’s Hope for Haiti telethon.
In other Aguilera news, a song entitled ‘Spotlight‘ has leaked from the soundtrack to her forthcoming movie Burlesque, which also stars Cher. It’s a major throwback to ‘Back To Basics’-era Aguilera, so be warned. Listen here:

Christina Aguilera makes her dramatic feature debut as Ali, a small-town singer who takes her shot at stardom performing at a neo-burlesque nightclub in Los Angeles.

“Burlesque” will revolve around Ali (Christina Aguilera), a small-town girl who tries to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater, she lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Enraptured by Burlesque’s outrageous costumes and bold choreography, the young ingenue vows to perform there one day.
Ali soon befriends a featured dancer, finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer and garners the affection of bartender and fellow musician Jack (Cam Gigandet). With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager and gender-bending host, she makes her way from the bar to the stage and restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory.
