After a minor setback in a one-and-out stint at RCA Records, 2006 AMERICAN IDOL runner-up returns with her 2009 sophomore release on the fabled (mostly for jazz) Verve imprint. Leadoff single "Had It All," hints at a darker, more intricate side to the talented singer, with fringes of angst and Beatle-esque hooks around her ever-powerful vocal belt.
