The Fame Monster (stylized as The Fame Mons†er) is an EP by American recording artist Lady Gaga, slated for initial release on November 18, 2009.

The songs on the EP were initially intended to be part of a re-release of Gaga's debut album The Fame.

However, Gaga announced that the new songs would be available as a stand alone EP, as she thought re-releases were unfair and that, as the EP represents a separate conceptual and musical body of work, it does not need the songs of The Fame to support it. A Super Deluxe Fame Monster pack containing the two releases will be released on December 15, 2009.

The Fame Monster is a double CD expanded version of Lady Gagas 了不起的phenomenal debut album The Fame. Disc one of this limited edition International Deluxe Edition version of the album features eight brand new tracks, including the single Bad Romance. Also included is the full International version of The Fame, which includes the smash hits Paparazzi, Poker Face, LoveGame and Just Dance, along with two additional bonus tracks.

It was just last year Lady GaGa exploded into the music scene with her debut album "The Fame." Since she has had great success worldwide, with over 4 million albums sold and 4 Top 10 singles. Lady GaGa - The Fame Monster [Album Review]

Just yesterday I was able to attend a listening party for Lady GaGa's new album "Fame Monster." Just last year she released her debut album "The Fame" and since it has sold over 4 million worldwide and has had four singles reach #1 on the Pop Chart. Well "The Fame" era has officially ended and GaGa is ready to reveal her new body of work. Which to sum up is a whole new direction for her and a collection of songs that are for sure to keep GaGa around for years to come. Below I review the album, track by track.

1. Bad Romance
The first single and one of four RedOne (Just Dance, Poker Face) produced tracks. Probably the closet resemblance to some of the songs on "The Fame." I can see now why this was chosen as the lead single as it sets the mood for what is too come. The beat is hard hitting and the lyrics are quite clever, and what about that killer hook. If it didn't pull you in during the first listen, then I would hope by now you can't get it out of your head after a few more listens. "I want your psycho, your vertigo stick" 9/10

Lady GaGa「Bad Romance」MV　掀裙證明陰陽人身分！？
Lady GaGa新專輯《The Fame Monster》將於11月23日發行，首播主打「Bad Romance」MV於11月10日正式在官網上現身。除了奇裝異服依舊成為話題，之前炒的很兇的陰陽人話題也被搞到MV當中。有眼尖的網友指出，在新MV的1分06秒左右，Lady GaGa面對鏡子拉開裙子，露出疑似肉色的物體。

就在今年八月，Lady GaGa才在英國的「Glastonbury Festival」表演時，只是跨過一輛機車，就被拍到裙底有不明肉色凸起物體。儘管當時Lady GaGa沒有針對此事說明，但是「Lady GaGa是陰陽人」這個話題在當時就一直被大家討論。這次，Lady GaGa是否要藉著「Bad Romance」的MV來宣示她是陰陽人呢？目前還不得而知。

除了陰陽人這個話題之外，MV內容也是充滿話題性（相關新聞請見→http://www.nownews.com/2009/11/12/340-2532120.htm）。在MV當中，Lady GaGa先是洗澡洗到一半慘遭綁架，還被猛灌伏特加，最後還被老鴇逼賣身給俄羅斯黑手黨。片尾來個絕地大反攻，黑手黨被燒死在床上，整具骨骸擺在燒焦的床上，Lady GaGa還穿著在噴火的噴槍胸罩裝，躺在一旁抽事後煙。

即將展開The Monster Ball巡迴演唱會的Lady GaGa，這次的MV造型依舊讓人大開眼界。在MV中只穿黑色蕾絲內衣褲還不夠看，像是剃刀墨鏡、blingbling露半球水鑚裝、公轉自轉鐵條裝等都令人瞠目結舌。MV中也出現Lady GaGa全裸露側邊刺青的鏡頭，還穿上看似整隻白熊做成的皮草，皮草最末端就是整隻熊的上半身。

除此之，Lady GaGa也跟時尚結合，在MV中穿上Alexander McQueen這位設計師在日前展出的2010年春夏新款的10吋高跟鞋與服飾。其實，「Bad Romance」這首歌首次曝光就是在Alexander McQueen的2010年春夏服裝秀上。除了MV的服裝跟流行接軌之外，專輯封面其實也很有時尚味。《The Fame Monster》的兩種封面造型，都是由前Dior Homme設計總監Hedi Slimane一手打造拍攝的。

有眼尖的網友指出，Lady GaGa在MV中有件白色連身橡膠服以及黑色連身裙裝是抄自名攝影師Sarah Leen照片。更有網友表示，「Bad Romance」MV中的置入性行銷太誇張，除了延續前幾支MV，都可以看到Lady GaGa戴著她設計並代言的耳機之外，像是同廠牌的電腦、知名品牌的伏特加、太陽眼鏡等。不論如何，有關Lady GaGa的話題應該是會繼續延燒下去。

2. Alejandro
Another track produced by RedOne given with a Latin flare. Bass heavy instrumental with a chorus that will have you singing "Alejandro, Ale-ale-jandro" for days. At first listen it reminded me much of the Ace of Base hit "Don't Turn Around" and Madonna's "La Isla Bonita," but I'm certainly not complaining. It's fun, simple, romantic, and pop! 7/10

3. Monster
This RedOne track brings GaGa's old friend Space Cowboy back into the picture. The track opens with "Don't call me GaGa, I've never seen one like that before," okay I'm listening! It's one of those songs where at first listen you just know it's a hit record. The phrase "Eat my heart" is thrown much around the track and towards the bridge is finished off with "he ate my heart and then he ate my brain." One of my favorites and with such a big chorus it would be a mistake to not make this song a single. 9/10

4. Speechless
GaGa teams up with Ron Fair to create what is the ballad we've been waiting to hear from her. If this makes any sense, it's like she has perfected exactly what a GaGa ballad should sound like. It's a pretty massive song and lyrically probably her most personal yet. One of my favorite parts of the songs is when she sings "I'll never talk again, I'll never love again, I'll never write a song, or even sing along, you've left me so speechless." 8/10

5. Dance In the Dark
Probably the most engaging track on the album and one hell of a pop record. If the chorus doesn't just sell this song to you then I don't know what a pop chorus is. Lyrically it's quite dark and much different from the sex and fame theme you may be use to. "You will never fall apart Diana, You're still in our hearts, Never let you fall apart, Together we'll dance in the dark." Fernando Gariby masterpiece and another single contender! 10/10

6. Telephone (Featuring Beyoncé)
I'm not sure if it was the loudness of which the song was being played at but the moment the beat dropped, I was sold. Subject matter is quite ridiculous, I mean it's about being bothered by someone on the phone when you're just trying to dance at the club. I think it's just the way it all came together is so empowering and energetic you can't help to want to get up and start moving. It's for sure a club record and I won't be surprised if it becomes a single. 9/10

7. So Happy I Could Die
The last of four RedOne produced tracks, but another solid one at that. Fits the theme of the album and the lyrics are quite sexual ;) . To get a hint of what I'm talking about, one of the lines are "I touch myself and it's alright, all throughout the night." I had a lot of fun listening to this one and with repeated plays, I'm sure I'm going to love it even more. "and it sounds like, eh eh eh, yah yah, ha ah ha." 7/10

8. Teeth
On this track GaGa goes a bit more urban with the help of Teddy Riley. Another hard hitting bass track with GaGa sounding quite bad ass as she repeats "Show me your teeth! Show me your teeth!" At times you may feel the need to get up and start marching for this one. "Show me what you got" "My religion is you" 8/10

In conclusion a whole new era for GaGa has begun with this album. It's a whole new direction and I feel every track has potential to be a single. The question is, are you ready for another year filled with GaGa? Buy your copy of "Fame Monster" when it hit's stores November 23rd!! [Standard & Deluxe]
