Janice 在2005年憑翻唱黎明金曲「我這樣愛你」和「情深說話未曾講」的英文版而走紅，轉眼間推出了四張專輯。繼去年《Serving You》，Janice 回歸音樂的最基本，以她最擅長唱的英文歌唱出自我。

《Morning》是 Janice 出道以來首張全英文歌專輯，十首原創英文歌的曲風由爵士樂、法式惰懷、騷靈、搖滾至田園小品不等。主打歌「Rainbow」由新加坡音樂人Taz為她度身訂做，以彩虹的七彩顏色來傳達愛的訊息，Janice 在曲中演繹高音部分，盡顯功架。碟內亦收錄了她較早前為為宣揚毒害的訊息的禁毒歌曲「999」，曲中以節奏強勁令青少年有所共鳴。

《Morning》CD 只此一版，絕不加推第二版。

Janice衛蘭超高音英文新歌《Rainbows》收錄於7月推出的英文大碟《Morning》中。將于7月推出英文專輯《Morning》，其主打歌《Rainbows》澎湃激昂，被視為衛蘭又一名曲之作。不過，衛蘭近日卻踢爆老板黎明（Leon）最初不識貨：“我覺得這首歌好特別，高音位飆到很高，但黎明就覺得很普通。后來是我主動爭取要求唱這首歌，出來的效果令人很滿意，希望黎明也會喜歡。”據悉，《Rainbows》中有句旋律飆到極高音，令衛蘭的唱歌技巧備受考驗，但最后她只花了三日時間灌錄，連監制陳臺證（Taz）也對她極為贊賞：“之前都知道衛蘭唱功好，她錄這首歌沒有令我失望，唱得很好，好powerful，證明她已經達到另一層次，令我很滿意！”衛蘭也說：“這首歌飆到好高音，之前未試過，不過錄音過程好輕松。”衛蘭表示：“沒有想過新專輯銷量問題，如果成績好的話，希望每年能出一張英文專輯。”
