2009 debut album from multi-talented producer/musician DJ Kato, recording under his 39 Steps guise. With this album written and recorded over two years, he has created a place where Hip Hop, Electronica, Jazz beats and film scores collide. Made ... 這年頭已經很少能聽到英國的Trip-Hop新晉樂隊了，雖然英國是Trip-Hop的發源地，所以在2009年的年初能聽到這支英國的新秀還是非常榮幸的。



這張處女專輯中首首動聽。開篇曲“Coming Clean”以幽暗神秘的音效鋪墊開場，隨後清脆的打擊樂和鑔音交相輝映，煞是好聽。“Ghost Writing”以氣勢宏大的鼓拍串起整首作品，女聲頗有幾分當初Massive Attack客席女聲的靈騷風姿，結尾部分也相當花哨。“Road To Where”將鼓拍又換了一種模樣出現，依舊沉緩有力，但女主唱唱法卻變得相當怪異可愛，不斷重複著的喃喃之音聽來像是咒語一般。“Dead Boards”加入了鋼琴的伴奏，但卻不似Craig Armstrong那般從頭到尾，而是影影綽綽的作為沙拉中的生菜葉子一般鋪墊在背景裡，女主唱的聲音也隨之忽高忽低，委婉動人。
