Recently I've been givin the oppurtiny to listen to Parachute's debut album "Losing Sleep". The album is a representation of the bands hard work over a number of years to get to where they are now. After inking a deal with Mercury/Island/DefJam in 2007, Will Anderson (lead singer) and his band mates were still juniors in college and they told the label they wanted to finish school. That's exactly what they did and since have been touring and getting their work out there like first single "She Is Love". As for the album, the band worked with a talented group of producers including John Shanks, John Fields, Chris Keup, and Dan Wilson (of Semisonic). All together making this a solid debut filled with Pop/Rock radio ready tracks. It might take some time for the boys to catch on but I'm sure It will be worth the wait. The album is set for a May 19th release everywhere, and an exclusive release to iTunes on May 12th!
