In a campaign to help the needy, actress Lee Ji Ah is making her sudden debut as a singer.
On the 20th, cable channel tvN broadcast their world special ‘LOVE’ which led with the revelation of Lee Ji Ah’s soon to be released digital single ‘Love Virus.’
In this broadcast, Lee Ji Ah’s first recording was revealed to the public. ‘Love Virus’ is pop style winter season song which is created by hit composer Park Geun Tae and famous lyricist Yoon Sa Rah.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the International NGO (non-governmental organization), Good Neighbors. They will be used for children living in unfortunate environments in the Philippines and around the world.
In the meantime, Lee Ji Ah’s digital single ‘Love Virus’ will be released on various online sites on Christmas Eve.

MBC 韓劇 貝多芬病毒 Beethoven Virus Gets An Extension Thanks to Good Ratings

MBC Beethoven Virus starring Kim Myung Min, Jang Geun Suk and Lee Ji Ah has been extended by 2 more episodes and will end it’s run on 13th November.
According to the production company, “We have recently decided on extending the drama by 2 episodes. This means that the drama will now end at Episode 18 instead of 16. With the additional 2 episodes plus the special, the original end date for the series on 5th November will now become 13th November.
With the extension, the follow-up drama The Return of Iljimae will now have more time to prepare itself for battle. Starring Jung Il Woo, The Return of Iljimae will now be delayed to December or January next year.
Beethoven Virus Wows With Trailer and Stills

With less than a week to go, MBC has started it’s publicity drive by releasing the trailer and stills for it’s drama “Beethoven Virus” (I like that name) which revolves around an orchestra and stories involving the people playing the various instruments. The still of Kang Gun Woo (Jang Geun Seuk) meeting Du Ru Mi (Lee Ji Ah) in the subway one day by destiny got the most attention.
In the photos, the beautiful scene of Du Ru Mi playing the violin while Kang Gun Woo plays the trumpet left viewers dazzled. In the drama, Kang Gun Woo doesn’t know about his in-born musical talent and only until the appearance of Du Ru Mi one day leaves him to discover that he is actually alive. Without any proper music training beforehand, Kang Gun Woo is bought into the orchestra and with the help of Du Ri Mi, they become the best partners and players.
Jang Geun Seuk and Lee Ji Ah will also appear at the “Beethoven Virus” press conference as MCs on 4th September with the latter set to play the violin to show her hardwork in learning it over the past few months. “Beethoven Virus” will air it’s first episode starting next Wednesday, 10th September.
“Kingdom of the Winds”, “Beethoven Virus” and “Tazza”, I am waiting on these 3. By the way, Song Hye Gyo, Hyun Bin, etc are in Singapore right now filming for KBS “The World That They Live In” starting from 1st - 13th September, for two whole weeks. No idea where they will be at. Tell me if you know.

Multi-talented Lee Ji Ah is a designer

Lee Ji Ah who is actively promoting Dressed To Kill jeans label now for which she endorses, announced her entry as a fashion designer for them.
Lee Ji Ah had personally designed a t-shirt series aptly named “Jiah T” for the Dressed To Kill label and pre-orders are now being accepted at their website.
Since her last drama “Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi”, Lee Ji Ah has been at several awards ceremony wearing elegant evening gowns that she personally designed herself and isn’t available anywhere else. Even her official website is personally designed by her. But designing a commercial item for sale is a first.
Lee Ji Ah meanwhile has left for Japan today to promote “Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi” drama in Osaka, Japan on 1st June. She will also appear at a press conference organised by NHK television station on 4th June. Her drama co-stars Bae Yong Joon and Philip Lee will also appear at the press conference.
