Maple Bee，原名Melanie Garside，是一個來自英國的樂器演奏者和作曲家。

Who is Maple Bee? 來自倫敦的Melanie Garside,又名"Maple Bee".是一位很又才華的年輕女歌手。此外她還扮演了其他角色，其一，與自己的sister組成一團體"Queen Adreena",充當bassist一直到2004年；其二，她還是那支與"Mediaeval Babes"齊名的搖滾樂隊"Vertigo Angels"的主唱兼bassist。

Maple Bee 2004年發行了總結性質的雙CD專輯《Chasing Eva》，該專輯包含流行電音，另類搖滾，民謠和古典音樂等多種曲風。

Maple Bee只是Melanie所涉及的諸多project中的一項，其他project還有Vertigo Angels, Huski, Mediaeval Baebes和 Queen Adreena等。

Melanie是從2003年她建立Vertigo Angels樂隊時開始使用Maple Bee這個昵稱的。Vertigo Angels現在已經解散。


新專輯的制作人是Simon Gogerly(曾為U2, Gwen Stefani and Underworld的專輯擔任制作)

Maple Bee在2008年發行了她的第四張專輯《Home》，此專輯以另類搖滾和民謠曲風為主。

介紹中提到了Mediaeval Baebes樂隊，這個樂隊很多人都應該聽過的吧，還算是有點名氣。

Solo album from the very talented Maple Bee. The record is largely self-produced but with notable additions from John Fryer (Nine Inch Nails, Cocteau Twins) and Dave Dix (Boo Hewerdine, Eddi Reader). Maple Bee's solo album is just one side of her prolific musical output.
