她，無師自通一手好琴藝！她，饒富細膩感受的創作文采，大多於她喜愛的深夜時分之中完成。來自於美國西雅圖，鍾愛文學本名為Alison Sudol的「美麗瞬間A Fine Frenzy」，摘下莎士比亞知名作品《仲夏夜之夢》書中的一個字詞「A Fine Frenzy」，自在地邁開她充滿詩意的音樂之路。在成長的過程當中，A Fine Frenzy自然地呼吸著Classical、Motown、Swing、Rock、Folk…等不同類型音樂。無論是從經典大師Aretha Franklin、Ella Fitzgerald、Elton John、Louis Armstrong、The Beatles，或是到新世代的音樂人Radiohead、Coldplay、Sigur Ros，「美麗瞬間A Fine Frenzy」全都在他們的身上，尋覓到各式各樣的靈感養份，「貪婪地」灌注在自己的創作土壤裡。

2006年，藉由一張自己寄出的demo，這個全身圍繞著文藝氣息的音樂創作人，立刻獲得了EMI唱片合約。再發行幾張頗受好評的單曲，以及參與無數現場表演的歷練之後，創作力驚人的A Fine Frenzy終於帶著她的首張專輯《滄海一粟One Cell In The Sea》，找來兩大製作人Lukas Burton（Paul McCartney、James Blunt 、Dido），以及Hal Cragin（Iggy Pop、Rufus Wainwright），以大量鋼琴音符、空心吉他線條、以及無重力的嗓音，建構出一個充滿想像畫面的唯美世界。創作裡散發獨樹一格的音樂氛圍，立刻抓住眾多好耳朵的關愛，美國星巴克娛樂副總為之深深著迷，並公開讚譽：「A Fine Frenzy是音樂界裡的稀有品種，藉由她的音樂，你將立即前往一個溫暖且縈繞的詩意天地。」美國權威娛樂雜誌Paste Magazine也大力稱許：「A Fine Frenzy的首張專輯，美麗又神祕！她過人的丰采，絕對是文字創作世界裡的下一個明日之星。」專輯開場曲是一首讚嘆生命色彩的誦歌，〈Come On, Come Out〉畫出A Fine Frenzy世界裡的最出感動；琴音跳動著Coldplay式的詩意曲線，〈You Picked Me〉以最哀傷的方式沉溺在宿命的無助裡；18歲當時有感而發所創作的〈Almost Lover〉，是這張專輯裡的首發單曲，這首愛戀輓歌除了在歐洲引起廣大迴響，更在斯洛維尼亞Slovenia奪下冠軍寶座，更被MTV真人實境節目【The Hills】，以及知名電視劇【Big Shots】，不約而同地選作配樂；強大的想念輕易地超越距離的限制，〈Think of You〉傳遞著溫暖的堅定，美國ABC電視台人氣影集【Wildfire】，也將此曲網羅於電視配樂當中；在感情世界裡的無盡迴廊之中，〈Near To You〉來回不斷自我辯證，尋找不到出口。
