From the Chinese side, the March 14 incident is presented as a violent riot instigated by the Dalai Lama separatist clique. In such cases, the official propaganda and supporting evidence are best regarded with skepticism, if not ignored outright. In fact, there is a dearth of information from the Chinese side anyway.
