昨日陳冠希在美國向各媒體郵寄VCR，向“豔照門”事件中所有緋聞女子道歉。另外，香港警方也為“豔照”源頭公佈了相關資訊。


昨日香港各媒體突然收到陳冠希發自美國的VCR，VCR裏陳冠希穿著襯衫，神情嚴肅，全部用英語表達。陳冠希稱，照片登出當天就已報警，並向所有被照片影響的人道歉。而聲明裏的相關資訊似乎也影射此前有消息稱“阿嬌自殺”一事屬實。具體內容節錄於下：

“我決定打破沉默，希望透過這段予傳媒的影帶，給一切牽涉這件事件的人……其實自事件首天我已報警，及協助調查，目前事件正在調查當中……很多人的性命都被這件事件及犯罪行為影響，就此事我深感痛苦、傷害及挫折。現在我用這個機會去向被影響的人正式道歉。現時請大家幫忙案件中的受害者，如果你已經下載相片，請不要再傳開及送出予任何人。如果你仍堅持持有這些照片，我促請你立刻把它們刪掉。請幫助受傷害的人醫治他們的傷口，請幫助他們，不要再令事件更趨嚴重。”

另外，昨日香港警方在中環一家電腦公司搜查，從涉案人士的電腦中搜獲1300多張涉案照片，女主角共計6人，除了之前已經曝光的照片外，包括公關公司職員、女模特甚至商界人士，但男主角同為一人。據透露，陳冠希曾於一年多前將手提電腦拿來維修。而昨日與阿嬌同公司的YUMIKO出席某活動時，透露阿嬌目前很好，預計春節後將復工。



Edison apologies for the nude photos 2008/2/5

Edison Chen, referring to a "strange ordeal" apologised for the appearance of nude photos showing himself, Gillian Cheng, Cecilia Cheung and Bobo Chan that appeared on the internet. In a video statement he apologised to everyone effected by the leak that occured after Edison took his PC to be serviced and 1,300 images were removed from it, some of which appeared online a few days ago.

Meanwhile HK police say they are confident they have found the source of the images and have arrested 8 people in connection with the case. One man has been charged with unlawful and dishonest access of a computer. The 1,300 photos recovered apparently show 6 women though the identities of 2 are unknown. This would imply of course that 1 more celebrity has yet to be unveiled.

Reports are coming in that the sex pictures featuring Edison Chen (right, about to shoot some reporters, just kidding) and various female HK stars were indeed real pictures and not fakes as the stars and their companies claimed at first. It is thought the pictures were taken off Edison's PC when it was serviced last year and then distributed over the internet.

Several people have been arrested in HK connected with this case but some lawmakers and members of the public are criticising the police for being overly zealous and are querying if downloading the images is illegal.

A picture apparently showing Joey Yung has also appeared on the internet (not too sure about that pic though), more celebrities are alleged to on Edison's PC too. If this is all true the lad certainly has been sowing his oats.

More arrests have followed in the hunt for the people who have uploaded pictures of proporting to be Edison Chen having sex with Gillian Cheng et cetera. Four men and two women were arrested yesterday, though said to not be the original uploaders. Today another man was arrested, said to have 100s of images related to the case in his possession (though of course this depends on what he was arrested for, if he was arrested for uploading indecent images then images related to the case could be any old porn). No word yet on whether the images are really of the stars or not.

An unemployed man in HK has been arrested and charged with circulating the sex pictures showing Edison Chen, Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung and Bobo Chan that have been tearing up the HK internet. As yet it was unclear if he was the original uploader or just happened to be an unfortunate guy out of 1000s the police chose to make it look like they are doing something.

Meanwhile as debate rages as to whether the pics are real or not (diehard fans say no but professional photographers seem to be saying yes) the parties involved are keeping a low profile. Edison left HK as soon as the furore broke and has been criticised for "cowardise" meanwhile Gillian is out of the public eye because of a "fever" according to EEG. Various other stars have been asked if they would take pics like this and strangely enough all said no.
