Maggie Q was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to an American father of Polish, and a Vietnamese mother on May 22, 1979. She gained fame in Hong Kong after appearing in Chinese TV series from 1998. In a picture shows all of Edison Chen's girlfriend, Maggie Q was the first rumored girlfriend of embattled Edison Chen, who reportedly had a brawl with actor Daniel Wu.

Maggie was widely reported in Hong Kong newspapers to have dated Edison a few years ago.

If rumours of the sex tape prove to be true, then Maggie will be the latest female celebrity to be implicated by the scandal.
