On April 2nd, Music Japan held a special broadcast of their usual show, called “Music Japan Special 2011 Spring Festival“, and AKB48 made a stirring appearance by performing a trio of songs.
They took to the stage and sang “Juunen Sakura“, “Sakura no Hanabiratachi“, and “Sakura no Ki ni Narou“, and you can check out their performance below!

前田さんは「大ベストセラーを原作とした映画の主題歌を ＡＫＢ４８がやらせていただけるなんて光栄です。 思いっきり盛り上げていきたいと思います ！ 」と喜んでいる。
売上金の一部は震災支援に寄付されます。
It was revealed that AKB48's 21st single would be used as the theme song for the movie (もし高校野球の女子マネージャーがドラッカーの『マネジメント』を読んだら), “Moshi Koukou Yakyuu no Joshi Manager ga Drucker no “Management” wo Yondara” (Moshi Dora). The movie stars AKB48 members Maeda Atsuko and Minegishi Minami.
However, the real interesting part from the article was that the 21st single is to be titled “Everyday, Kachuusha” (Everyday, Headband). Last year the girls’ had a hit summer single with the song, “Ponytail to Shushu” and this year it seems they’ll be rocking out some new hair accessories; headbands!
As we reported earlier, a part of the earnings from the single will be donated for the earthquake relief.
New AKB48 members and ROLLY to host new radio show

NHK Radio will be starting their newest program, “KAKEDASE!”, on April 2nd at 9:05.
This program will be hosted by ROLLY, as well as the newly promoted AKB48 members, Oba Mina and Nakamata Shiori. The program will be 1 hour and 50 minutes long with the following corners: “HayaMIMI and Trend”, “Talk AKBeat!”, “Anokoro Download”, “My News”, and “KAKEDASHI LIVE”. The first broadcast of the program will also have a special interview with ROLLY, Oba, and Nakamata.
Also, Hirahara Ayaka will be a guest on the “Anokoro Download” corner, so it should be a very interesting talk segment that everyone should look forward to.
