After arriving in Korea on the night of March 12th, 2NE1′s Dara met with reporters outside of Gimpo International Airport and shared her experience in Japan with Star News.

Dara revealed:
“At the time of the earthquake, we were on the 34th floor of our hotel dorm in Tokyo.  Maybe it’s because we were higher up, but things shook a lot more severely, which surprised us all. I thought my body was going to fly out. Even during the plane ride home, I couldn’t calm myself, and thinking about it now still scares me.

After the shaking stopped, we walked from the 34th floor all the way down to the first and relocated to a safer location. There were many things to worry about, including our Japanese fans who were waiting for us in front of the hotel during the time of the actual earthquake.

All of us were very shocked, but we were more worried for the safety of the Japanese people. I genuinely hope that everyone made it out of the disaster safely, and that it doesn’t become magnified.”
When told that her fans were concerned about the bandage she had on her finger, 2NE1’s representatives explained, “It was not because of the earthquake. She got into an accident in the bathroom and put a bandage over it.”

11st goes biblical in new CF featuring 2NE1

The ladies of 2NE1 have been endorsing online shopping mall 11st for quite some time now and they’re back with another CF for 11st.

The theme of the latest CF is basically saying that it’s generally difficult to receive special benefits (reward points) but 11st makes it easy. The girls are trapped in between the ultimate destination represented by “11″ but they have a big body of water in between. Using a playbook from the Moses tale, Park Bom uses the 11 tablet (10 commandments) to part the sea and a random creature, which we think is representative of Gollum (Smeagle) from The Lord of the Rings was also thrown into the CF for comedic effect. Sandara Park reveals her ‘chic&fresh’ airport fashion

2NE1’s Sandara Park is working that airport like its personal runway.

On March 9th, Sandara Park posted on her me2day, “Arrived in Japan! Today, Darong’s (Sandara Park’s nickname) airport fashion is ‘chic&fresh-girl’ concept! Chic + fresh girl = chic&fresh girl”

Sandara poses dramatic in her white motorcycle jacket and eclectic pants. It seems that she just arrived at the airport, since she’s still clutching her passport.

Sandara added, “Added some bling-bling to the simple and chic outfit, and added freshness and cuteness with the 3-way apple hair! Here’s to 2NE1 in making a fresh first impression! Fighting!”

Netizens commented, “You look totally pretty!”, “You are so chic&fresh that it’s burning”, and “Make all of Japan into 2NE1 fan world, too!”

2NE1 is scheduled to appear on Japan’s AsiaTV ‘Music Station‘ on March 11th.
