To promote their new “Hot Value Series,” Pizza Hut is recruiting the help of popular girl group SKE48!

This endorsement will be SKE48’s first endorsement to be broadcast nationwide, and will feature the girls in a thirty second CM along with their newest song, “Banzai Venus.” Although the exact number of members appearing in the CM has not been confirmed, it can be assumed that only the sixteen members included in the title track will be shown in the commercial.

“I thought they were going to give us the cold pizza that we used during the CM shooting, so I was moved when they prepared fresh hot pizza (for us to eat)!”, exclaimed Matsui Jurina, who will be demonstrating how warm and gooey the cheese on the pizza is during the CM.

“All of the members of SKE48 love pizza, so we were ready to participate in a Pizza Hut CM,” said Matsui Rena, appearing just as excited about the group’s collaboration. “Just imagining you guys enjoying your pizzas and SKE48 cards makes me feel a warm happiness.”

Pizza Hut’s “Hot Value Series” will be available beginning March 7th, while the CM will begin broadcasting in the first week of March. Those who purchase an item from this new menu will receive an exclusive SKE48 trading card while supplies last.

Nagoya-based group, SKE48, filmed their “BANZAI Venus” PV last month on January 18^th and 19^th at a marketplace in Nagoya.

A month ago we reported that the group asked for their fans’ help in recording the video and their fans definitely didn’t let them down! The PV not only features the cute girls of SKE48 it also features 1,000 of their fans, men and women, young and old, having a blast while dancing to SKE48’s newest song.
