It was revealed on April 5th that hip-hop trio Funky Monkey Babys will be singing the theme song for the upcoming drama “Asuko March!“, starring Takei Emi.
Fan-mon’s first ever drama theme song is titled, “Sore demo Shinjiteru“, which means “Even so, I still believe”. The track is an uplifting song about persevering through difficult times. It was written specifically for the drama, where the protagonist (Takei) is the only female in her class at a technical high school.
Member Funky Kato (32) commented, “Some parts were written for us at that time. If there are people worrying and suffering like I was in the past, I want to support them, even a little bit, with this song.”
“Asuko March!” will start its weekly Sunday broadcast on April 24th and will also feature actor Matsuzaka Tori.
