Yesterday the semi-annua “Tokyo Girls Collection” show held its 2011 S/S event at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo.

TGC’s 12th show attracted a 23,000-member audience, 720 journalists, and many more viewers from its live YouTube channel. Hardly anyone had time to blink during the 7 hour-long festival, which was full of countless popular models, special guests, and performances from both Japanese and Korean artists.

Model/actress Sasaki Nozomi had the honor of opening the show with a cute outfit from popular brand, “L.D.S“. However, it was agreed that she became stunning through her joint bridal stage with singer/actress Vivian Hsu and actress Yoshitaka Yuriko. All three ladies appeared on stage wearing gorgeous wedding dresses whilst promoting for “Essential Damage Care“, a brand from which they’re the image characters for.

Yoshitaka couldn’t stop smiling, as she gushed, “I’ve never worn such a huge dress before. It’s a great feeling!”

Nodding, Sasaki agreed. “It’s my first time wearing a wedding dress for the show, but it got me even more excited.”

Vivian Hsu is rumored to be marrying her Taiwanese boyfriend soon, so it was quite fitting to see her wearing a wedding dress. “It feels like a real marriage ceremony,” she said, “I also can’t help but want to sing when I’m in front of people.” The former Black Biscuit member then performed her million-seller, “Timing“, and everyone in the crowd was singing along. Vivian’s new album – titled “Natural Beauty” – will be released on March 16th.

For those of you who missed the show, TOHO cinemas will screen a 3D version in theatres across Japan, which includes some backstage footage. However, it’s a limited screening, as it’ll run from March 26th to the 27th only. An official digital magazine with all the outfits and more will become available in the form of an app on April 12th.
