5人女生組合Girl's Day成員Yura，曾由於雙重合約被前經紀公司Action Music娛樂提出了禁止一切演藝活動的申請，目前此申請已被法院駁回。27日，Yura的法律代表李民浩律師透露，本月20日蔚山地方法院作出了駁回申請的判決。

Action Music娛樂去年10月左右向法院申訴Yura違反了合同並與其他公司簽約，使得公司損失巨大，名譽、信用一落千丈，所以提交了要求禁止其演藝活動的處理申請。法院方面表示：“Yura的父母正式和Action Music終止了合同，Action Music提交的證據不能證明他們的主張。所以尚不能確定下達處分的必要性。”

Yura方面也表示：“很遺憾Yura捲入到了意想不到的訴訟中。日後我們會展現出全力以赴的樣子，以報答人們對我們的關心。”另一方面，Girl’s Day正在為3月左右的第三張專輯回歸做準備。

Earlier, we reported that Girl’s Day’s Yura was caught in a dual contract lawsuit due to an injunction filed by her former agency, Action Music Entertainment, prohibiting her from participating in broadcast activities with her new group and agency.

At that time, Action Music claimed, “Kim Ah Young (Yura) signed a contract with Action Music Entertainment on July 1st in order to become a part of a four member girl group. However, beginning August 1st, she stopped showing up for work; this was six days before the group’s music video filming, and it forced all schedules to be canceled. The debut of her members has also been delayed, causing an extreme image and trust loss with staff members of our company.”

However, according to information revealed by her lawyer, Lee Min Ho, on January 27th, the injunction filed by Action Music was dismissed by the Ulsan District Court on the 20th.

The court reasoned, “Yura’s parents officially terminated her contract with Action Music, and the evidence submitted by Action Music on two pleads do not prove their claims. We did not feel that an injunction was necessary.”

Yura’s representatives commented, “It’s a grave pity that Yura was involved in such an unexpected injunction lawsuit. From here on out, we’ll make sure to show our best and repay our fault for causing such concern.”

Meanwhile, Girl’s Day is currently preparing for their third album comeback scheduled for this March.

Girl's Day's 민아Minah to make her acting debut on 롤러코스터“Roller Coaster”

Girl’s Day’s Minah will be making her first attempt at acting.

On tvN’s “Roller Coaster,” she will be appearing in the new corner, “Frustrated, but Let’s Stick Together.”
Minah, who has shown her various talents, will be playing the role of a younger sister who fights with her sibling over a brand-name purse, a girlfriend who is fighting with her boyfriend, and fighting with her friend at school, as her character will change in each episode and show off her charms through various scenarios.


The staff of “Roller Coaster” said, “Her reactions and talents are overflowing, so she’s completed her roles very well for her first time in acting.” Not only that, but she is receiving the love of the staff as a whole for always showing her cute and lovely charms on set.

“Frustrated, but Let’s Stick Together” will first be broadcasted with Minah appearing as the sister of Lee Hae In, as the two will fight over a purse. The episode will air on January 29th.



Girl’s Day members reveal their airport fashion + Korean fanclub name decided

Girl’s Day members revealed their airport fashion while on the way to China to participate in the China Media Festival.

Leader Sojin tweeted, “The first time I’m stepping on the ground of another country. I’m going to Beijing!!“, Yura wrote, “First overseas trip“, maknae Hyeri declared, “We’re off to China“, and Minah tweeted, “Arrived at the airport, I’m hungry.”

The pictures that were uploaded exhibited each member’s unique personality. Mina wore headphones and glasses with big round frames, and she struck a playful pose. Sojin wore a unique hat and posed with a victory sign, while Yura wore sunglasses with a coy expression on her face. Hyeri wore a purple knitted sweater with a pure look. However, fans expressed regret that Jihye’s photo wasn’t shown.

In the waiting room at the airport in China, Yura tweeted another picture. She wrote, “We have arrived in China safely. I want to travel to another country soon.”

Meanwhile, it was revealed on @Girls_Day Twitter that their Korean fanclub name will be called DAI5Y. The name for Girl’s Day international club will remain as DIAMONDS.
