JQT impresses netizens with MR-removed video of “PeeKaBoo”

An impressive MR removed video, featuring the stunning vocals of JQT’s recent comeback performance, has been a topic of much interest amongst netizens.

Their MR removed performance on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” of their comeback track, “PeeKaBoo,” began circulating on internet community boards on January 18th. The performance was especially noted for the way they sang perfectly live while pulling off their choreography.
Netizens commented, “Their comeback has exceeded my expectations,” “Not only did they do well in fitting into the sexy concept, they also sing well!,” and “I’m looking forward to their future performances.”

GP Entertainment commented, “From the viewpoint of our company, they still lack many things, but we’re glad that people are praising them. They’ve worked hard to perfect their performance, and they’ll be continuing to work hard to improve themselves.”

After successfully debuting with “I Fell For You” last year, the four ladies of JQT focused on working the Hallyu wave in Southeast Asia. They’ve finally returned with their comeback mini-album, and are planning to feature a more powerful and mature voice, in comparison to their cutesy debut.

Their title track, “PeeKaBoo,” was produced by the J&S Team, who’s known for works such as the Namolla Family’s “Like a Child.” The song features a strong synth line with a unique rap and an addictive, spell-like chorus to enchant their ‘boyfriends.’

Their second track, “Because of You,” was produced by rookie composer Choi Yoon Hyuk and has a retro-funky dance beat that supports lyrics detailing the pain of a woman before a break up. The remaining three songs also feature their characteristic bass line, such as the groovy “Choosy Boy,” the smooth and charming “One by One,” and a trendy Euro-dance sound with “Shocked.”

JQT Minjung’s eye injury may delay comeback

JQT’s Minjung has an eye injury that may delay the group’s comeback.
GP Entertainment officials revealed on January 12th, “Minjung injured her face after slipping on ice while returning to her dorm. The skin near her eye has bruised, and she mentioned that she couldn’t see from one side after she got back up.”

Regarding their comeback, which was originally scheduled for January 14th, the representatives continued, “Minjung has expressed that she’d like to stand on stage with her members and is rehearsing at the hospital with choreography videos they sent her. We’ll be monitoring her condition until the 14th, and confirm the group’s comeback then.”

Should Minjung heal fully in time, the girls will be holding their comeback stage on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank on January 14th.
