It’s been almost five years since Coco d’Or’s last release, but fans of the jazz band can finally pen a date onto their calendars.
The group has announced that they will release their third album, “Coco d’Or 3” on March 9th! While details still remain vague, what is known is that it’s a 12-track album arranged by Dave Matthews.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Coco d’Or, it’s a jazz solo project fronted by SPEED member, hiro. Formed back in 2004, the band delivers fresh remakes of popular jazz songs, including Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” and Ella Fitzgerald’s “Misty“. Their first sold 49,306 copies and was deemed as the ‘album of the year’ by the Japan Gold Disc Awards.
