Katy Perry is just a two weeks from releasing her highly highly-anticipated sophomore album "Teenage Dream" on August 24th!! She currently holds two spots on the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with "Teenage Dream" (#7) and "California Gurls" (#2). In support of the album Perry is releasing promo singles on iTunes as part of an exclusive countdown. Here we have new track "Circle the Drain" which was penned by Perry and produced by Tricky Stewart. It's pretty much the complete opposite of "Not Like the Movie" which we received last week. A nice change of pace considering everything we've heard has been the happy/uplifting side of Perry. Be sure to check it out, Enjoy!!



According to the NY Post, in the song Katy makes reference to her ex-boyfriend and former Gym Class Heroes lead singer Travis McCoy and his previous drug addiction. The couple dated off and on throughout 2008 and broke up shortly after New Year’s 2009.
