The time has come for SNSD / Girls’ Generation to cast off their oppa-loving cheerleader look and put on the makeup and sexy for their Black Soshi concept on Music Bank!
With the release of Run Devil Run this week, there were high hopes for this debut stage and the girls sure delivered.

SNSD releases Run Devil Run music video!

The highly anticipated music video from SNSD aka Black Soshi is finally here! The song Run Devil Run was released just a little while ago and now the full visual package to go along with it is out as well.
The 180 degree change from Oh! to Run Devil Run is not only a dramatic one but a very well-received one as well. The music video features these girls in totally new outfits with relatively maturer choreography and sexy new hairstyles. We’ve seen the banged out YoonA and black and blonde haired Jessica in the teaser photos and video, but watching them fully transform into these new identities in the video is a whole different story.
The “catch me if you can” dance seems like the best part of the whole music video for me. Because I’m more into the dance than the actual song, I’m looking forward to the comeback performance of the Run Devil Run.
The changes between the black and white outfits remind me a lot of Kara’s Lupin music video. Even though SNSD, Kara and T-ara have their own distinct styles, the girl groups are undoubtedly overlapping a bit in terms of concepts at the moment.
But who’s doing it best?

韓國組合少女時代于17日公開了新專輯重新包裝版中的主打歌《Run Devil Run》，正式開始了第二張專輯的宣傳活動。
主打歌《Run Devil Run》正如在第2張專輯《Oh!》的MV結束時預告的一樣，所有成員突然都以一襲黑衣出場，著實吸引了眾人的目光。此前，少女時代在第二張專輯的主打歌《Oh!》中，變身啦啦隊美少女，盡展熱情洋溢、活力四射的青春魅力。而這次卻截然不同，以幹練黑色作為主打色調，展現出的華麗、幹練造型，將少女時代的絕美身材可謂是顯露無疑，更襯托出了她們高傲幹練的魅力和懾人魂魄的霸氣。
主打歌《Run Devil Run》是一首電子合成音很強的流行歌曲，大家可以在這首歌中看到少女時代冷酷的魅力。同時歌詞寫得也很直率，更加增加了歌曲的強烈感。

SNSD gets an iPhone application for their comebackby heartfacee
SNSD’s repackaged second album is about to release and the countdown is on! To bring more hype for its release, SM Entertainment has released an iPhone/iPod Touch application for the girls’ comeback with Run Devil Run.
For those of you who have iPhones and living in an Apple world will know that applications are little programs you can add to your iPhone or iPod Touch. They can be games, a social networking site in a mobile version and more.
SNSD’s application is a D-Day countdown and starts with the teaser. In Korea, the application has reached #3 on the application chart. The music video will also be released on the application. If you’re one of those people who has their iPhones next to them at all times and loves SNSD, this is the application you should have.
Check out the application here or search for “Girls Generation” with the Appstore application in your iPhone. This application is free of charge!
The SNSD girls have been teasing us since January with their “Black Soshi” concept, and the official track has been released – it’s officially called Run Devil Run, and we already know it’s got hit single status!
With tracks like T-ara’s I Go Crazy Because of You and Kara’s Lupin, the femme fatale concept is definitely taking over kpop, but with its infectious chorus and SNSD’s especially dramatic image change, Run Devil Run will undoubtedly S♥NE’s off their feet and probably lure in some new fans in process. There’s also a lack of autotune, something you don’t see very often amongst kpop dance tracks these days.
It’s said that this track was composed by Busbee (Boom Boom Bang), Alex James of Blur, Kalle Engstrom (contributed on Lindsay Lohan’s Speak album) and more.
Furthermore, popular American artist Ke$ha (you know, the one that brushes her teeth with jack) recorded a guide track (thereby unofficial) version, which was leaked onto Youtube in 2008. However, SNSD’s track is the official version of this production.
So the music video won’t be out for a bit of time, but I’m sure this will more than satiate y’all for now; feast your ears on Run Devil Run…
