Lyn - 6 1/2 New Celebration



Ballad queen Lyn puts on her dancing shoes for her new release New Celebration. Going through a musical and image makeover, Lyn shows her sexier side for the catchy title dance track New Celebration, which was specially selected by hit-making producer Hwang Sung Jae. Lyn's powerful vocals match pace with the song's groovy melody and hip-hop and R&B rhythm. "Noona's Song" featuring E.Via is a unique love song merging Miami beat, reggae, and house crossover. Lyn stays to her roots for the main ballad "True Story", another surefire hit from the composer of Kim Tae Woo's "Love Rain" and Lee Seung Gi's "Let's Break Up". New Celebration is the first half of Lyn's sixth album; the second chapter will be coming in early 2010.

LYn releases MV of “New Celebration” featuring MBLAQ’s Thunder

It has been revealed that MBLAQ's member Thunder, also known for being a brother of 2NE1's Sandara, was cast in the MV for LYn's title-song "New Celebration," which was released today!

The MV was released through portal sites such as GomTV, Dosirak, Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and Soribada. She recently released her MV teaser which showed her radical transformation. With her new look, she has been getting the fans excited, but with the release of the MV, they were more surprised because of Thunder's appearance.

LYn commented, "It was really hard during the filming as it was my first time dancing since my debut, but it was really fun and exciting. ... I personally can't wait to know how everyone thinks of my new look."

Her 6th album "6½ New Celebration" is divided into 2 CDs: the first will be out on the 27th, and the second, centered in ballads, will be released in early 2010.

Recognized as the "ballad queen" of Korea, Lyn transformed into a "sexy queen" for her upcoming album called "New Celebration." A MV teaser of her title track "New Celebration" was released and, as the name of her 6th album suggests, a different side of Lyn that may potentially give a reason for fanboys to rave was revealed to the public.

Famous producer Hwang Sung Jae chose "New Celebration" as the title track so as to show off Lyn's powerful vocals and a strong, addictive melody of the song. There is much anticipation for the MV, wherein the talented singer is expected to flaunt her hidden dancing skills.
