17 year-old Selena Gomez has been apart of the Disney family for some time now and has yet to release an album. So it should be no surprise that we have it hear now, but Gomez decided to take a different approach to things. Instead of just presenting herself as a solo act, she decided to title herself with her band The Scene as well. First single "Falling Down" has been making it's rounds on Disney but hasn't had much impact elsewhere. As for the rest of the album Gomez and her band deliver a debut filled with fun pop/rock tracks. She's young so she was smart to go for the fun, energetic theme and not make it a personal record. It's obviously not meant to be taken as a serious effort, and if you go into it that way then you may find yourself enjoying it. Deff check it out and BUY YOUR COPY SEPTEMBER 29TH!!

　 來自德州、全名Selena Marie Gomez的Selena，從小就充滿表演慾，7歲展開演藝事業，出演美國著名高收視率兒童電視節目「Barney And Friends」，10歲被迪士尼全球才藝計劃發掘，陸續客串「小查與寇弟的頂級生活The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody」和「孟漢娜Hannah Montana」等影集，直到擔綱贏得艾美獎青睞的「少年魔法師Wizards Of Waverly Place」女主角，Selena的知名度也連帶的水漲船高。2008-2009年間開始密集推出歌唱單曲，於美國和加拿大境內皆有不俗表現，入圍的三項青少年直選獎全部拿到手，Selena已是竄起飛快的耀眼新星。
