Bruce Springsteen's 'Working On A Dream' begins a second week at the summit on the global album chart, despite a 50% sales decline to 234.000 copies.

The Fray's self-titled album bows behind at no.2 with sales of 191.000 copies.
Beyonc's 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' turns back at no.3 (down 2% to 98.000),
The 'Twilight'-soundtrack goes to no.4 (76.000) and rounding out the five is Franz Ferdinand's 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand', which slips 3-5 (down 49% to 73.000).

Country-star Dierks Bentley's new set 'Feel That Fire' starts at no.6 with only a few hundreds fewer copies sold.

Veteran-act Chage & Aska enters with another best-of compilation at no.32 (32.000) and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' 'Lonely Road' arrives at no.36 (30.000).

The 'Grammy-effect' helps Adele's debut '19' to a re-start on the global top 40. The album goes to no.38 (28.000) after a 14-week chart abstinence.

Also Fleet Foxes' debut turns back in the top 40 and climbs to a new peak (no.30, 33.000) after a re-package release in United Kingdom.

It's a very rare event, that a song bows at no.1 on the global track chart. Thanks to a weak competiton and massive download-sales in north-america, 'Crack A Bottle', Eminem's collaboration with Dr.Dre and 50 Cent, shoots to the top-spot after only one week with 298.000 points.

The last time, that this was happened is over 11 years ago: in September 1997 Elton John's Diana-hommage 'Candle In The Wind' exploded at the summit with incredible single-sales, a historical record. Eminem himself just missed the top-spot in June 2002, when his 'Without Me' started at no.2.

Lady GaGa's 'Just Dance' lost this week's chart-battle, slides down at no.2 after a three-week reign (down 1% to 287.000 points). But on the other side, her follow-up 'Poker Face' enters the top 10 for the first time and becomes the largest points-increase of the week (up 27% to 220.000 points).

Katy Perry brings a third smash in the top 40, 'Thinking About You' comes in at no.39 (71.000 points), 'I Kissed A Girl' slides at no.33 (84.000 points) and 'Hot n' Cold' sails to no.3 (249.000 points)

Lily Allen celebrates simultaneously no.1 on both charts

Lily Allen The Fear sales decline to 59,671, but that is enough to give it a third week at the top of the singles chart. Meanwhile, Lady GaGa Just Dance spends its third consecutive week at number 2,with sales of 41,602, raising its career tally to 412,878 while, having graduated to physical release,

With The Fear leading the singles chart for the third week in a row and It's Not Me, It's You debuting at number one on the albums chart, Lily Allen becomes the first artist to simultaneously top the two charts since The Kings Of Leon last October.

Allen's second album - surges to a first week sale of 112,568, easily beating the opening tally of 62,701 that earned its predecessor Alright, Still a number two debut and peak in July 2006 behind Razorlight self-titled second album. Alright, Still has since gone on to sell 976,180 copies.

Allan's new album was helped to its sales tally ?the best of 2009 - by some heavy discounting. It was available physically for as little as ?.99, while Tesco.com slashed the price of the download to ?.97, only for Amazon to trump it with a ? price point.

Swift back to no.1 as Plant & Krauss, Coldplay soar

In a chart week encompassing Grammy boosts and Valentine's Day sales, Taylor Swift's Big Machine effort "Fearless" returns to the top of The Billboard 200. The set moved 92,000 copies on a 44% sales jump, resulting in its nine non-consecutive weeks at No. 1.

Coldplay's "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" (Capitol rebounds 31-8 with 62,000 (+271%); the album generated four Grammys, including song of the year for "Viva La Vida."

Best new artist winner Adele's Columbia debut "19" climbs from 27-10 with 57,000 on 218% bump, and the "Grammy Nominees 2009" compilation posts a 114% increase to 61,000, resulting in a 12-9 jump.

Directly behind is Lily Allen's sophomore album, "It's Not Me, It's You" (Capitol), which starts with 70,000 at No. 5. The British singer's debut release, 2007's "Alright, Still...," bowed at No. 20 with 34,000.
