They write songs about burn-outs, the end of relationships, of boredom, of hope, of dreams lost and born again.Broken Record Prayers is a jam packed 20 track / 74-minute album of recordings previously only available on limited edition singles.It also includes three songs from their John Peel Sessions and three brand new, previously unreleased songs (Love Without Lies, Hard Times and Books Of California).

Comet Gain arrived in the international pop underground alongside the likes of Huggy Bear and Cornershop during the Riot Grrrl years of the early 90s. Ever influential, Comet Gain are regularly namechecked by current bands, most famously The Cribs who appear to be building their Comet Gain collection via pricey 7” singles on ebay (thankyou ebay member rossjarman…).Still very much in demand, Comet Gain and their song Love Without Lies are featured in the new Giles Borg film 1-2-3-4 (http://www.carsonfilms.co.uk/1-2-3-4/home/) In addition to the Broken Record Prayers album release, there will be a 7” single released on the Twee As Fuck label – a double A-side of "Love Without Lies" and "Books Of California" To coincide with the release of Broken Record Prayers,
