來自挪威的二人組合M2M，以一首甜美至極的”Pretty Boy”風靡。2002年M2M解散後Marion和Marit都走上了個人發展的道路。2005年發行了她的首張 個人專輯”Here I Am”，由乖乖女的甜美曲風轉型pop-rock雖然有些老套，但這也許是她個人獨唱事業成 功的一條捷徑。首支單曲”Break You”以”We Will Rock You”式的節奏開篇，chorus部分則可以很明顯的 聽出Avril Lavinge的影子。2007她的全新專輯「Set Me Free」已經發行。

Set Me Free” is the debut album from 22 year-old Norwegian-born singer/songwriter Marion Raven, already a superstar in her native Norway, Asia and more recently achieving success in North America and Europe.
Raven’s first taste of success in the UK was as the duet partner with Meat Loaf, on his single “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”, taken from the massive Bat Out Of Hell III. Marion is the special guest on the legend’s sold out Europe Arena’s tour in May ‘07, appearing as the only support act, and then later in Meat Loaf’s show itself.
Collaborators on the album include rock legends such as Nikki Sixx from Mötley Crüe, Desmond Child, Keith Nelson (Buckcherry), Max Martin and Canadian singer/songwriter Chantal Krevaziuk who all worked closely with Marion to produce a heated, intense and heart-felt album.
