KARA has been featured on the cover of Japan’s monthly Oricon magazine, “Only Star“, after winning a poll which predicted that they would be 2011’s number one breakout artist in Japan.
Japanese readers left comments like, “They’re so cute and sexy, they’ll be earning more popularity in the future,” “Beautiful idols skilled in singing,” and “KARA has charming new singers that I’ll be looking forward to in the new year.”
In the poll, SNSD took second, followed by SKE48 in third.
Through DSP Media, KARA commented, “We never expected so much love from our Japanese fans, we’re so very thankful. We’re all so excited in hearing that so many people are interested in us this year.”
