IU reveals comeback MV teaser for “Good Day” and concept photos

IU's MV teaser for “Good Day” was released earlier today and although it doesn’t show much, who cares, it’s IU and she’s adorable!

We're highly anticipating her comeback this time around as top notch producers came together to work on her new mini-album “REAL“. The mini-album will be released on December 9th and she will be making her comeback stages this week, with MBLAQ’s Thunder joining her!

IU's famous colleagues actively promote her comeback album

After previously revealing some of the famous helpers for her comeback album, “REAL“, IU has been earning the unending support of some of the biggest names in the industry.

Composer Kim Hyung Seok tweeted, “IU is the first artist I have ever sent in a demo tape for. Normally, singers and agencies approach me first and ask for songs. Thankfully, she liked it, so I’m going over there now to help her record.”

Other lyricists and composers have been promoting the album on their personal Twitters as well.

Singer Yoon Jong Shin beamed, “IU is a highly talented singer with an intelligence and sense of emotion that one can only be born with.”

When asked about the attention IU has been receiving, her agency, Loen Entertainment, stated, “We believe that people are giving her high judgments due to the passion and talent she’s shown despite her young age. She will be working hard in order to pay back all of the support and promotion she is receiving. We request your love for her album.”

IU will be making her comeback on December 10th through KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank“.

IU預計在9日發行的第三張迷你專輯“REAL”特別版，在短短幾天的預購中就已經銷售一空。

“REAL”特別版中包含有相冊、畫報、日曆和便利貼，是IU向fans傳達感謝之情的特殊版本。

線上和線下的預購本來計畫在9日開始，但是由於fans的要求，5000張專輯在這周就已經售完。

IU的經紀公司說：“我們很驚訝能賣得這麼快，發行商們要求更多的訂單，但是可惜現在不可能再追加生產了。由於特別版已經售罄，我們將提前一天開始普通版的銷售。”

It was recently reported that IU’s special edition of her 3rd mini-album, “REAL“, which is scheduled to be released this coming December 9th, has already sold out for pre-order sales after only a few days.

The special edition of “REAL” was a way of expressing IU’s gratitude to her fans, and it contains the album, a photo spread, a calendar, and post-its.

Both the online and offline pre-order sales began on December 9th, but due to high demand for the hot product, all 5000 units were sold out during the weekend.

“Even we were surprised at how fast they got sold. The distributors are currently asking us for more orders, but unfortunately it’s not possible to produce additional units for now. Because of the sold out special editions, we will begin regular sales a day earlier than planned,” revealed IU’s agency.

Meanwhile, IU will be making her official comeback through KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on December 10th.

IU had famous helpers for her upcoming mini-album, “REAL”

With her comeback drawing closer, it was recently revealed that IU kindly received help from some of the nation’s most famous musicians and producers to arrange her upcoming third mini-album, “REAL“.

What most people can’t wait for is the R&B song with veteran musician Yoon Jong Shin, who was specifically choosen to match with IU’s voice. Kim Hyung Suk, a producer who IU has always said she would like to work with, chose a fun, electronic song for the singer – a genre IU will be tackling for the first time.

The creators of ‘Nagging‘, Lee Min Soo and Kim Lee Na, produced another hit in the making, titled ‘A Good Day‘, while Shin Sa Dong Tiger worked together with IU to create a sweet love song to match December’s Christmas spirit. Lastly, Choi Gab Won, a producer who has been working alongside IU since her debut, helped write delicate lyrics that express IU’s unique sensibility.

“All the composers were happy to participate and produce songs and lyrics for IU’s album. The new mini-album, ‘REAL’, is an album that even IU feels 200% satisfied with. Please look forward to it,” stated IU’s agency.

IU will be officially releasing her 3rd mini-album on December 9th, and she will make an official comeback on music show programs alongside MBLAQ’s Thunder for a duet.
