Charade is the new album from Jeanne Cherhal , to be released in March. No musicians play on the cd 'cept for Jeanne, interestingly enough. En toute amitié is the first single, a poppy yet layered song. From a children's music album (released a few years ago) is this bonustrack about frogs giving a concert.

2010/1/23
3 years after her previous album L'Eau, released in 2006, Jeanne Cherhal will be back on March 8 with Charade, an album including the first single 友誼"En Toute Amitié" : listen to it ! The singer will perform on March 9 at Paris' Bataclan.

2010 marks a label change for the singer, going from the independent Tôt Ou Tard to the major Barclay. For her fourth album, Jeanne Cherhal reveals 11 new songs, a charade in 4 parts, that's the album name. Charade will come out on March 8 (March 1 on legal download), including the first single "En Toute Amitié". The singer put promotional videos on her new official site. http://www.jeannecherhal.net/

No musicians on this new album ! Jeanne played every instrument. Keyboards of course, also guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers & other ones. Recorded between Madrid & Paris by sound engineer Yan Arnaud (Air, Syd Matters & Sébastien Schuller), Jeanne offers a direct album, stripped, with an amazing instrumental, where classic songwriting is replaced by avant-garde pop.

Also, the singer will start her new tour in France from February 24, going on March 9 at Paris' Bataclan.
